Trip to Brazil

May 15th I took off to Brazil, with my mom and my brother. My dad had a worktrip to Paris, France (but says his hotel is way too shabby...). He's going to meet my grandma in Israel, and then we'll meet back in Santiago.

Well right now it's Thursday but we actually left on Saturday, so I'll tell you a little bit of what we've done. Up until now we've gone to the beach 3 times: One to Leblon and 2 to Leme. We ate lunch at a meat rodizzio restorant and ordered pizza twice. We ate sausages with baked potatoes and lots of black beans. Oh and nuggets. (hehe).

We went to the movies to see Alice in wonderland. It's very good. Ummm... let's see...

We also went to my cousins house. Oh, and after the movie we sat at Chaika Chaica to have dinner. I had a sandwich and a milkshake!! :) Infront of that there was a really cool shoestore and I got these really cool and weird shoes... They're awesome!!! I'll upload a picture of them next week!!

Until now, besides the shoes I got this cute red vest with white polka dots, theese pusple sunglasses at the beach, and my aunt gave a pair of black flats with white polkadots (you can tell I really like polka dots...)

Today it was rainy and cloudy (but not cold, i'm in shorts and a T-shirt), so we couldn't go to the beach. :( So after we had breakfast, we went to a museum with my cousin Pedro and his grandma from his mother's side, Maria Glaucia. We saw an exposition about Albert Einstein and a 3D movie explaining his theory. E=Mc². It was very interesting. Soon we'll be having lunch and after lunch I think we're going to the movies in the Barra Shopping. (I think).

Well that's about it up to now so I'll write more later in the week...

Day 2 in Boston

So far my brother and Julian's cat Sharpie woke me up, we all took showers (except the cat), and Julian and Dylan left to school. My dad just got here and I'm waiting for my hair to dry so me and my mom can go shopping. BTW: I absolutely hate hair dryers. The only time I don't hate them is at a hair dresser.

1st day in Boston

After a suffocating stay at the Santiago airport, we finnally took off to miami. We got to Miami and waited about (wait for it) 6 HOURS in Miami.

It's weird... I thought that in the US people spoke english. In Miami every single person was speaking like a cuban style of spanish. It was awkward because I arrived in the US from Chile (latin america) and we sat down and ate these freezing eggs* on toast and we realized everyone spoke in spanish (except these 2 jamaican dudes that were eating weird wraps) and I was like : "Are you sure were in the states??"

Well anyways, we finnally got on the plain after I burnt my tongue with some very, very, extremely hot tea that we bought form yet MORE spanish-speaking people. I first played on my Nintendo (ds) and voila! it ran out of batteries. Then I read my book which isn't actually mine. I borrowed it from my friend Coni. It's a really good book. I think it's australian. Because it says Melbourne and "mate" all the time. It's called "I lost my mobile at the mall"... Then I got bored of reading and it was time to board the plain. We got in and this guy behind us emmediately began to snore. It was... disturbing, I guess. And in front of us was a tiny baby who wouldn't stop crying. So if this was opposite world... that would've been a class 1 flight.

We got to boston (yes!) and met the whole lechner family at the airport. All of the bags were safe and sound, except mine, that ended uf in Orlando, Florida. Ugh!! Hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow morning.

We went to the mall and had linch at Pappa Gino's and then went to T. J. Max to get me some clothes for the day. I took a shower at my aunt Mery's house who was very happy to see me and her daughter didn't recognize me at all. But, she will...

Then my aunt Ceci and uncle Gustavo got there. They were also happy to see me and luckilly their daughter did recognize me. She gave me a biiiig hug. Later, I went to Keeley's house and we were both reaslly excited to see each other. Although when we sat down to talk, it was weird because we could NOT think of anything interesting to talk about. But it was great seeing her after so long. I'm going to school with her on tuesday!! We're going to spend the whole day together!!

Well, then we got to the Lechners' house and got ready for bed and now here I am, tipedy-tiping away. Well that was my day and here's an aproximate but modyfyable schedule of my stay in Boston.

Monday>In the morning I'm going shopping and at about 6:00 P. M. I have a pesach seder at Goldie's grandparents' house (thanks for the invitation).

Tuesday> On tuesday I will be going to school with Keeley and then I think I'll spend the afternoon at her house and I might sleep over at Goldie's that night.

Wednesday> I'm really not sure but I'm probavly spending the morning with goldie... In the afternoon I might work something out with hannah.

Thursday> Umm, probably spending time with the lechners and all...

Friday> Leaving to Orlando.

As I said, this schedule , mostly from Wednesday and Thursday, I will probably be making some changes.

*On the menu it was written: scrambled eggs on toast. Now when you see that you would normally think that means "hot" too. Well, think again.

New Info

As some of you might know, I will be going to Boston on March 27th. Yes, tomorrow. I will be landing on Sunday the 28th, at about 2:00 P.M. I'm very anxious to see all of you and hope that I will. I will probably call everyone on Sunday or Monday. If I by then I haven't done so, I'm probably busy and will call soon. I'll give you more information tomorrow or on Sunday when I land. If by then I haven't, it's most likely because I have nothing more to say.

Great News!!

On March 27th I will be going to Boston to visit everyone. When I get there, I will write about our adventures in Boston. Fór those interested: I will be paying a visit to the Rashi School this year!! Im very excited to see you all!! Me and my brother are literally counting the days untill our trip. Today it would be 5 weeks and 2 days!! See you all soon!!

Starting 2010!!

This week

This week is my bat mitzva and i have pneumonia. Yesterday I went to the docton and he sent me to the hospital and the took blood from under my elbow and i did an x-ray of my thorax. They concluded i have pneumonia but i hope not contageous...

Anyway... I don't feel that bad. Well, on to good things, my doctor and mom say tomorrow my pneumonia is going to be ok... my uncle, aunt, and cousin are going ton get here tonight. My grandparents tommorow night. Im sooo excited and (I know I sound selfcentred but) I know I'm going to do great on saturday! Wish me luck!
PS: Even though some of my really good friends arent going to be able to come, I wish you could and miss you a loooooooooooooottttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Preparations for my Bat Mitzva 1

I finally finished my study course and now I´m consentrating on the singing. It´s been really fun. I´m also playing piano. I´m playing Shma Israel by Sarit Hadad. I´m also singing it. TTYS.

Last Complete day in Brazil

Today we woke up and put our clothes on for a twin bar-mitzva. The ceremony was BORING! But the party looked like HOLLYWOOD!!! There were pictures, columns, huge cars with a bar in the back, huge plastic electric guitars, a huge desert table, wow! it was AWESOME!!

We got back hom at 5:30 aprox. and rested for a while. Then we went out to little stores to get souvenirs for chile. I´m really sad we have to go but I really miss my daddy and want to go home. Well talk to you tommorrow!

What I did today

Today I woke up and Pedro had gone to school already. We had breakfast and stayed at home for a while. Then we went to the beach. I got new sunglasses!! It was warm, good waves, but a little bit windy... Then we came home, took a bath and at 3:30 we were ready to go have lunch. I shared a plate of fetuccini alfredo with my grandma. It was great.

Hey I'm going to do surgery (safe) on my fish. I'm probably going to change most of their colors. But it doesn`t matter.
Bye! I'm going to eat pizza!

Today (already lost count)

Today we woke up and my mom was already gone because she had a tfilin ceremony at 7:00 am. Well when she got back we had already had breakfast.n Later we went to a fort and there was this soldier that didn't move unless another soldier past by. My brother took a picture with him, he was like a statue.

We got back home and had lunch. Then we went to the beach. We came back and took a shower. then we waited for Pedro. That'sm pretty much it!
